All manuscripts submitted to NKRI: Networked Knowledge and Research in Informatics will be screened for plagiarism before entering the publication process. The plagiarism screening process is conducted using Turnitin or Plagiarism Checker X to ensure manuscript originality, citation accuracy, and compliance with academic integrity standards.
Authors are required to ensure that their manuscripts are original, properly cited, and free from inappropriate copying, duplication, or unethical use of other authors’ works. Manuscripts that do not meet the plagiarism screening requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected by the editorial team.
The following criteria are applied in the manuscript screening process:
- The similarity index must be less than 25% based on Turnitin results.
- The similarity index must be less than 30% based on Plagiarism Checker X results.
- The manuscript must consist of at least 5 pages.
- The manuscript must include a minimum of 15 references, and all references must be cited properly in the text.
- At least 70% of the references must be publications from the last 5 years.
- The numbering and sequence of figures and tables must be accurate and consistent throughout the manuscript.
- The manuscript must follow the official template of NKRI: Networked Knowledge and Research in Informatics.
